I am a fully qualified, experienced Primary School Teacher (graded as Outstanding by OFSTED) now running my own business as a full time Professional Private Tutor, available during both term time and school holidays. I offer tuition in person (in a purpose-built teaching room in the grounds of my property) as well as online tuition.

I provide a high-quality, professional service specialising in private one-to-one lessons in 11+ or maths for children in years 3-6. I offer regular weekly lessons. 

 

I have a proven track record of success and the vast majority of enquiries result from word-of-mouth recommendations. In addition, I am an 'Approved Tutor' for The Edward Richardson Primary School, Tetford and St Michael's C of E Primary School, Louth.

Over the years, I have successfully taught children in all subjects in both Key Stage 1 (years 1 and 2) and Key Stage 2 (years 3,4,5 and 6) in schools in Leicester (whilst training); Peterborough (St Botolph`s C of E Primary School); Skegness (Skegness Junior Academy); and Louth (St Michael`s C of E Primary School).

Unlike classroom teaching, private tuition is purely centred around the needs of the individual and as a result can produce amazing results.  I love to help children gain confidence through their increased understanding. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a child improve and progress.

I hold a clear Enhanced DBS check certificate - the most in depth check available from the Disclosure and Barring Service. This means I am officially approved to work with children. Please ask if you would like the reassurance of seeing the certificate.

As well as working as a private tutor, I am a parent. I have a daughter and a son, both of whom passed the 11+ test with my help.
